GENERAL LIBRARY and DIGITAL LIBRARY
General Library in our college functions as the abode of knowledge and wisdom for all students and faculty members. We have a separate building with ground and first floor. The ground floor serves the purpose of General Library whereas the first floor serves the purpose of Digital library. We have nearly 25,000 books on varied subjects related to different departments, which cater to the needs of ardent readers. All the books including in department library are maintained through the accession register in General Library. We are Providing 125 journals back volumes available both in General and Department Libraries for students and staff for research purposes.
The 13 Department Libraries are well equipped and have a good collection of subject related books and journals. The following department libraries are functioning in this college.

TOTAL BOOKS:
Books available under state plan (Non-plan) are more than 45000 and under UGC plan are more than 12000. Therefore total number of the books available more than 57,000 including department libraries.
UGC BOOK BANK:
UGC Book Bank is functioning in the College General Library and Department Libraries. These book banks have more than 12000 books on different subjects.
DIGITAL LIBRARY:
On the first floor of our library we have dedicated space for digital library. There are 10 systems connected with Broad Band facility to enhance the research aspirations of our students and faculty. The INFLIBNET N-LIST (National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content) project provides access to e-resources to researchers and faculty of this college. The faculties of our college can access e-resources and download articles required by them directly from the N-LIST website.
KNOWLEDGE RESOURCE CENTRE:
On the first floor (Air-Conditioned) of our library we have dedicated space for Knowledge Resource Centre with the financial support of RUSA. There are 10 systems connected with High Speed FTTH Broadband facility to improve the adequate knowledge through internet for our students and faculty. Both Digital Library and Knowledge Resource Centre are running in the first floor.
AUDIO LIBRARY FOR VISUALLY CHALLENGED
On the first floor of our library we have dedicated space for Audio Library for Visually Challenged students and faculty. There are 2 systems with appropriate software installed for our students and faculty.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE C.D’s :
More than 380 CD’s are available in Digital Library. These C.D’s are for the improvement of General Knowledge, Self-Development, Business Success, Positive Thinking, Time Management, Management Skills, Personality Development, Effective Communication, Spoken English and Grammar, World History, and Soft skills etc., to the students.
CCTV facilities:
The entire library building is fully covered under CCTV with the financial support of RUSA for watching library activities in the librarian cabin in this library.
RESOURCE CENTRE FOR PERSONS WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENT (ENABLING UNIT):
In order to empower and develop inclusive education, the library has provided two systems with screen readers for the benefit of Visually impaired students in our college. Nearly 100 visually impaired students are using various assistive technologies for their educational upliftment. There are various Braille books both academic and non-academic are available for them. Special workshops, reading sessions and Competitive examination preparatory classes are being regularly conducted at regular interval.
BOOK SHARE:
It is an accessible online library for people with disabilities. In this college more than 100 students including staff are using this online library through internet.
BENEFICIERIES:
The College General Library and Department Libraries are used by 200 professors and administrative staff and more than 3000 college students including research scholars.
